KFA Homes is a family owned and operated business with over 50 years of combined experience in home building and design. Our founders wanted to help clients like themselves with a customer centric based company, focused on communication and reliable expertise. With our help and knowledge we bring open communication, hands on experience and knowledge to help you every step of the way. KFA was founded by the Walji brothers : Karim and Alim. The brothers decided to start KFA homes after there own home building experiences. After going through their own custom home building process, they realized what they wanted as clients. The two wanted to take these experiences and offer an easier way for clients to be involved with the process, so they created a custom home company focused in the Vancouver and Burnaby area. To stay aligned with this goal, we keep in continuous touch with our clients from primarily sketches to the finished home. Our first-hand experience with building our own homes enables us to understand the stress and apprehension that comes with building your own home. KFA Homes will be there every step of the way to help you make the right decisions that fit your needs, including your home’s layout, selection of finishing, materials and design schemes. Karim Walji, CPA, CA
Co-Owner/Founder
Karim overlooks the entire operations for KFA Homes. He is one of the three founders. Karim’s passion for custom home building began when he decided to build his own home.
Karim values open communication and transparency. He aims to build flawless and unique home for all of our clients. He is there to guide our clients through the process of building their new home and support their decision making to ensure that the client’s vision comes alive.
Karim has a background in finance and is a Charted Professional Accountant.
Alim Walji, P.Eng, MBA
Co-Owner/Founder
Alim is one of the three founders of KFA Homes. He takes on the role of reviewing structural designs, assisting in future project developments and more. One of his main responsibilities is advising in cases that have special engineering requirements.
Alim has worked on many large projects, including the Lions Gate Rehabilitation, with his knowledge and detailed work experience you can rest assured that you are in good hands.
Alim’s background is in Applied Science in Civil Engineering.
Edgar Omole
Project Coordinator
Edgar joined our team as our Project Coordinator in 2018. His role is to support the Project Manager and Site Supervisors from the first steps; including budgeting, scheduling and making sure all the details are in place. He has an eye for design, and is there for the clients every step of the way. Edgar has a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a focus in architecture design.
Blair Beauchamp
Site Supervisor
Blair has been a Site Supervisor for KFA Homes since 2018. With Blair’s knowledge and past experience of running his own construction company we trust & believe he is the best to manage our custom home’s construction phases. From demolition to framing Blair will be there working along side our trades, and will continue being on site until the finished project. Blair has over 35 years of experience in homebuilding and construction, varying from different projects.
Dave Mason
Site Supervisor
Dave has been a Site Supervisor with KFA since 2017; he handles the construction process from framing onwards. Dave has over 14 years of experience and can be found on the job site managing trades and answering any of client’s questions and needs. Before he was managing jobsites, Dave was a self-employed finishing carpenter. He was in charge of renovation projects custom millwork and much more. Bringing all his hands on experience to KFA makes Dave a great asset to our company. Dave loves to continue learning to better his work and aims to learn something new from every project.
